Crush Yard offers indoor pickleball in a modern, comfortable, family-friendly environment serving amazing food and drinks.  It's a club where members feel like part of a community and a restaurant where both locals and visitors find a unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience.


You may know that pickleball is the fastest growing sport in America and we are gearing up for franchise development with early adoption of independent owners nationwide. With compelling membership offers, we built our community in our founding market of Charleston, SC even before we broke ground on the building. Our pickleball club and restaurant
elegantly combines a sports venue and gourmet dining in an “eatertainment” model with technology at the forefront of operations and management to optimize the business.


Crush Yard is open to the public and prepared to make pickleball accessible to everyone with a membership model with perks. We are open to development in markets throughout the US.

training & support

As part of your pre-opening support, we provide on-boarding and training to prepare you to open: 
 

Join us for 4 weeks in Mount Pleasant, SC (Charleston area) to learn in depth operations systems, our technology platforms, advertising and local marketing for your new business. We also cover management, staffing, development and plans for Grand Opening including strategies to pre-sell memberships prior to opening. 

We provide about a week of onsite support in your Crush Yard pickleball club and restaurant as you prepare to open. As a franchise owner with Crush Yard, you have our ongoing guidance to develop, grow and become an active part of your local community. 
 

FAQ

Q. Are you seeking owner operators or executive owners? 


A. Executive Owners are preferred - we want our owners to be involved in the oversight of the business, but not working “in” the business. Most of our franchise owners will focus on marketing and business development, just managing their general manager and executive chef.

Q. Can I own more than one pickleball club and restaurant? 


A. Yes. We believe some owners will operate multiple restaurants. We offer discounts on initial franchise fees for owners who commit up front to additional units. Once you are an operating franchise, you can also take advantage of our 20% discount on a future agreement, should you decide to open another location.

 

Q. How much space do I need for this pickleball club and restaurant?


A.  Approximately 40,000 square feet is needed in addition to adequate parking and drive by traffic. We have specific site criteria to help evaluate real estate that would be a good fit for your Crush Yard.

Q. Do you offer support for real estate selection?


A. Yes! We have connections to existing real estate that would be ideal for your Crush Yard. Our plan is to help expedite your site selection and decrease speed to opening.

Q. How many employees are needed to operate the business?


A. Typically between 10 and 20 employees per shift with a GM and Executive Chef on site.

 

Q. How long does it take to open?


A. You should be able to open in about 9 to 12 months, it depends on how quickly you complete pre-opening steps and training.
